The solar grounding bonding jumper is designed to provide a reliable electrical bonding connection between conductive components in photovoltaic (PV) mounting systems. It ensures continuous grounding across solar modules, mounting rails, and aluminum structures, enhancing system safety and electrical performance.

Constructed from tin-plated braided copper with stainless steel connectors, the bonding jumper offers excellent flexibility to accommodate thermal expansion and contraction caused by temperature changes. This design minimizes mechanical stress while maintaining a stable, low-resistance grounding path throughout the system’s service life.

Installation Guide

Insert the bonding jumper into the top mounting slot of the rail.
Secure the jumper by tightening the flange nut to 8 ft-lbs torque.
Position the grounding washer with nibs and the grounding T-bolt on the rail.
Apply pressure to allow the nibs on the washer and T-bolt to penetrate the rail’s anodized surface.
This creates a direct grounding path from the solar panel through the bonding jumper, ensuring effective electrical grounding.
